Who we are
Above Coding is an independent app design studio. We design and build native apps for Apple platforms, with a focus on experiences that are genuinely fun to use, not just functional.
We’re not a large agency or a dev-for-hire shop. We’re a small, senior team that cares as much about how an app feels as how it works, because for most people, those are the same thing.
What we believe
Modern technology has gotten enormously capable, and enormously complicated. Powerful hardware, on-device intelligence, rich sensors: most of it is invisible to the people using it, and that’s exactly how it should be.
Our job is to take that complexity and turn it into something simple, playful, and easy for anyone to pick up. We’d rather ship an app that makes someone laugh than one that just checks a feature box.
Who we work with
We partner with founders, small teams, and companies who have an idea for an app and want a design-led studio to help make it real, from a first prototype through an App Store launch and beyond.
